This came as a gift to my 10 year old daughter. The first time she used it she must have opened the space a bit too wide between the two plastic parts of the book mark and it broke. so sad. The light it put off is good.

I received this light as a Christmas gift and have been using virtually ever since. I really like the fact that when your done using the light it swivels and becomes compact and has a clip to bookmark your page. Highly Recommend!!

Wiithin a month of use the bookmark part broke in half because the balance between enough pages to keep it from falling out and not too many to stretch it proved impossible. After that I tried to hold it in the book, but it is so top heavy that it fell to the floor and the metal arm broke in half. Sadly, this light just isn't built to last.

I purchased one of these Booklights a few weeks ago. Upon delivery, the LED's would not stay lit. The LED's would shut off after you let go of the button. I promptly returned for a replacement. The second one works great! It it convenient to be able to read in the dark, and then fold it up and use it as a Bookmark. A few Cons though: When folded up, the top part, where the LED is, is much heavier than the rest, so when you have it in the book as a mark, and then open up the book to your spot, the bookmark will fall out. Unless you hold on to it as you open the book, it will fall out. Not very handy for single-hand use. Also, the LED could be brighter. I find myself having to adjust the light or book to see each page. Otherwise, this is a very handy Bookmark/Booklight. I use it every night for about an hour, and about 10 hours a weekend.
